PRSSA 2019 International Conference

San Diego | Oct. 18–22

Visiting San Diego

San Diego is California's second largest city with a citywide population of 1.3 million and is best known for the 70 miles of beaches and incredible weather.
The most popular attractions are the San Diego Zoo, SeaWorld San Diego and LEGOLAND California. Aside from these world-famous sights, San Diego is bursting with culinary arts talent, offering award-winning meals at over 6,000 eating establishments.
If you enjoy the outdoors, Balboa Park has 15 museums, several art galleries, numerous gardens and much more. It's the largest urban culture park in North America. No matter what, there is always something to do in San Diego.

Visiting San Diego During Conference

We hope you are excited as we are for the upcoming International Conference in San Diego.

We are lucky that the Manchester Grand Hyatt and the Marriot Marquis San Diego Marine are close to so many popular attractions and restaurants but please keep in mind traffic in San Diego can be difficult. Parking in San Diego, like in any other city, can get a bit pricey. We encourage walking in pairs as much as possible. Also, look outside of the box for ways to get around San Diego, such as San Diego's Red Trolley.

The Conference room block rate is $299 per night for singles, doubles, triples and quads rooms. The hotel room reservation deadline is Sept. 20. It is best if you book a room at the Hyatt but if you wish to stay at the Marriot Marquis San Diego Marina be sure to visit the PRSA Conference site for detail.

The average temperature in San Diego in October ranges from 70–76 degrees Fahrenheit (21 - 25 degrees Celsius).
