Jason Mollica is the president of JRMComm, a public relations and marketing consultancy. He combines knowledge of the broadcast news industry, traditional public relations expertise and today’s new and innovative social media tools.

Jason was formerly the public relations manager at a strategic marketing and PR firm near Buffalo, New York, where he worked with environmental, commercial retail, and non-profit clients on strategic marketing and PR plans, as well as social media development.  He was also responsible for conducting numerous media training session for clients, including CEOs and CMOs of one of the top food chains in Upstate New York. Prior to this, he worked at Niagara University in the Office of Communications and Public Relations. It was there that he assisted in writing for the award-winning publications, the “Eagle” alumni magazine and “On Campus” newsletter. He also developed and implemented the “Purple Podcast,” which highlighted campus newsmakers. Through these experiences, he has seen firsthand the impact that effective public relations and social media marketing strategies have on companies and organizations.

In addition, Jason has a rich background in traditional media such as radio and television. He worked for Fox News Channel in New York City, and was part of a team that helped to launch the nationally syndicated Fox News Radio. He also worked in Philadelphia for the NBC owned-and-operated station, WCAU-TV, as a sports producer. Jason also spent time with Comcast SportsNet as a producer of its “SportsRise” program and has covered the World Series, Stanley Cup playoffs, and NFL Playoffs. This extensive media experience provides a unique perspective in guiding media training and education.

A graduate of Temple University, Jason operates his own blog and guest blogs on several others, including the respected Ad Age-ranked, PR Breakfast Club, Ragan.com, PRSSA’s Progressions, PRSA’s Comprehension, and Muck Rack. Jason is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and frequently speaks to PRSSA chapters, Fortune 500 companies and professional organizations around the country.
