Jessica is a group manager at Weber Shandwick. Working out of the New York office she provides employee engagement and change management support to a number of clients in various industries.
Previously, Jessica was at Burson-Marsteller, where her main clients were Ford Motor Company, Bank of America and Pitney Bowes. She provided media relations support for all her clients and has placed clients on top tier and online media. On behalf of Ford Motor Company, Jessica has secured media attendance at numerous events including the Consumer Electronics Show, North American International Auto Show and New York International Auto Show. She has provided on the ground support to staff media interviews at major events like these and more. On behalf of Bank of America, she has overseen the development from start to finish of the company’s successful Merrill Edge Report, a bi-annual survey created to garner media attention and emphasize the company’s understanding of their target group. During her time at Burson she has worked on numerous clients in a wide range of industries.
She began her career at Burson-Marsteller as a Corporate Intern with the Harold Burson Summer Internship program in 2011. Prior to re-joining the Corporate practice, Jessica interned with Burson-Marsteller's DC Digital practice. Throughout her internship she played an active role in proactive and reactive social media strategy for a wide variety of clients.
Jessica's past experience also includes in-house marketing at the Kogod Center for Career Development within American University. Throughout her time there she served in numerous roles mainly enhancing the perception of the career center.
Her active aspiration to become a public relations professional led to her role as chair for the New Professionals Section of the Public Relations Society of America. Jessica holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Communication and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, specializing in marketing, from American University.
