A professional and social mentor, Tressa Robbins, BurrellesLuce implementation vice president, has been in the public relations and marketing business for over 20 years. She currently works with major accounts to ensure successful onboarding and perform BurrellesLuce web portal training on media outreach, press release distribution, social media, media monitoring, reporting and analytics, as well as consults with clients on industry best practices.

A Missouri native, Robbins has long been active in public relations and regional business groups, including PRSA, currently serving on the PRSA St. Louis Board and having previously served in various roles including chapter President, and as 2015 Conference Chair for the PRSA Midwest District. She mentors students involved in PRSSA and serves as Professional Adviser for the Southeast Missouri State University PRSSA chapter. Robbins has been a guest speaker and panelist on traditional and social media strategies as well as personal branding at a number of local, regional and national events. 

In addition, she is a frequent – and widely followed – commentator on media relations, social media and PR career tips for the BurrellesLuce blog Fresh Ideas and guest contributor to myriad other blogs including PRSay and PR Daily. She is an ardent social media user, frequently participating in #PRSSA, #PRStudChat and other industry-related Twitter chats, as well as Facebook and LinkedIn groups.
