As the founder and president of Convince & Convert, a strategy consulting firm, Jay Baer helps leading businesses gain and keep more customers through the smart intersection of technology, social media and customer service. Among the many companies that Baer has advised are Nike, 3M, Walmart and Oracle.

A hype-free digital marketing expert, Baer is known for his eye-opening perspectives.

Baer, a best-selling author and consultant, shares proven techniques to “Turn Your Customers Into Volunteer Marketers.”

His most recent book is “Hug Your Haters: How to Embrace Complaints and Keep Your Customers.” It examines customer service disruption, and was named one of 2016's top three business books.

Recently inducted into the Word of Mouth Marketing Hall of Fame, Baer hosts the Social Pros podcast. He has created five multi-million dollar companies, and is also an active venture capitalist and technology advisor.

Fun Facts: In high school, Baer was voted “most likely to be a game show host.” He is also an avid tequila collector and a certified barbecue judge. Jay’s first speaking engagement was in 1993 when he discussed the wonders of the internet and its applications for marketing!
