PRSSA USMP HOSTS PRSSA TOURNAMENT FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

October 19, 2018

LIMA, PERU (August 21, 2018) — The Universidad de San Martín de Porres PRSSA Chapter held a PRSSA Tournament for third consecutive year.

The PRSSA tournament was created to give all members the opportunity to develop strategic planning skills amidst a crisis.

The tournament consisted of six teams, each of which had a designated alumni member for advising and guidance. Teams were given 60 minutes to develop the eight steps of the Wilcox and Cameron planning model. Each strategic plan was presented to a panel consisting of Kurth Mendoza, Strategic Communication specialist and professor at San Martin de Porres University, Fiorella Zárate, former Chapter president and Communication Specialist in PRONIED and Francesca Rojo, former director of the student-run firm, PR USMP, and current Communication Specialist in Culture Ministry.

The judging panel proclaimed the winners, a team consisting of Enzo Rezza, Mary Juárez, Anthony Quispe, and team adviser Bryan Calle.

“I loved sharing time with everybody” said team adviser Bryan Calle, “It’s been two years since I participated in the tournament and it was great.”
