PRSSA Announces Ashleigh Kathyrn as National President

NEW YORK (Dec. 10, 2018) — PRSSA is pleased to announce Ashleigh Kathryn, a graduate student at the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL., will serve as the Society’s National President, effective immediately.

Previously, PRSSA’s Immediate Past President Andrew Cook, assumed the role and responsibilities of National President with the assistance of the PRSSA National Headquarters staff.

Prior to her presidency, Kathryn served as the vice president of professional development on the PRSSA National Committee. She was the first person to be elected to hold the same position for two consecutive terms. From now until the end of the term, PRSSA National Headquarters and the National Advisers will manage the vice president of professional development position.

“Providing members with opportunities to enhance their education, broaden their network and launch their careers remains the paramount mission of the Society,” said PRSSA Executive Director Jeneen Garcia.
